Father's Day.
I was thinking about getting my dad something that he'll appreciate. Well, I asked my mom what to buy or give him, but she answered, "I don't know. It's up to you." But I really want to give him something unique, something that he will treasure for the rest of his life. So on Father's Day, I, or maybe we, haven't gotten him anything. And that made me feel really bad. It's because we owe him a lot already.
My dad is one of the most influential people in my life. He has always been in my life, from the day I opened my eyes up to the present. This person is a teacher, a guide and a source of strength and support. He is whom I look up to with pride, trust, and respect. A man with a very generous heart and has a willing hand to help others in times of need. Sometimes, he has a harsh tone; but most of the time, he is always happy and has a sense of humor.
Then I realized that I can make everyday Father's Day. By just doing anything that pleases him. Like doing your daily chores without him asking, preparing breakfast for him, hugging and kissing him on the cheek before leaving for school, and coming back. We don't need to treat him only on Father's Day, but in every day of our lives; while he is still here. We should always tell him that we love him--and that means so much to him already.
Fathers inspire us to be the best of what we already are.
A FATHER'S LOVE
A father is respected because
he gives his children leadership...
appreciated because
he gives his children care...
valued because
he gives his children time...
loved because
he gives his children the one thing
they treasure most - himself.
A father is respected because
